Bull Case

Beyond the headline numbers, bulls are paying close attention to Max, ServiceTitan’s core software suite designed to streamline and automate the full job cycle, spanning lead generation, dispatching, on-site execution, and technician earnings. The company stated that Max using businesses achieved call booking rates more than 500 basis points above similar businesses not using Max and close rates more than 1,000 basis points higher, according to ServiceTitan’s aggregate data. One example, Team Rooter, a residential plumbing business, saw its online booking conversion climb from 61% to 66%, alongside an 18% annual revenue gain and a 39% rise in average ticket value.

In July, TrussPoint Roofing & Exterior Renovations, an investment platform focused on residential exterior services and backed by Soundcore Capital Partners, chose ServiceTitan to power operations across its roofing brand portfolio, which includes Ridge Top Exteriors, Mario’s Roofing, Eaton Roofing & Exteriors, and Runyon & Sons Roofing. Established in 2025, TrussPoint’s goal is to support founder-led companies as they grow, all while retaining their local identity and customer bonds. ServiceTitan will act as the operational core, delivering consistency, transparency, and efficiency throughout TrussPoint’s growing network.

Bear Case

Although commendable, the Team Rooter case is just one example which might not be replicated across ServiceTitan’s overall client base. Similarly, the company’s strategic alliance with TrussPoint is largely dependent on financial resilience and sustained growth of the roofing platform, which was introduced just a year ago. Hence, the related potential for ServiceTitan is strongly tied to the underlying execution of this early-stage platform, as well as the broader PE-backed consolidation strategies across the home services segment. A tighter lending environment, softness in roofing demand, or integration-linked hurdles for TrussPoint’s different brands can have adverse implications for this partnership.

For investors, another critical factor under consideration is whether such platform consolidation efforts could actually diversify ServiceTitan’s revenue streams, or does it just lead to some incremental accounts across an existing vertical.

Institutional Sentiment

Institutional data across 1,000+ hedge funds tracked by Insider Monkey reveals a decline in the number of hedge funds that are invested in the stock. As per 13F filings, hedge fund ownership went down from 44 funds in Q1 2026 to 38 funds in the following quarter. Short interest of 8.77%, although not too high, still suggests moderate level of investor skepticism around the stock.

As of June 30, ICONIQ Capital was the largest institutional stakeholder in the company. It held 11.43 million shares according to Yahoo Finance database, representing 13.82% of the total outstanding stock. Other major institutional names include BlackRock and FMR with 6.28% and 6.14% ownership respectively.

What Next

Fast growing adoption of Max points to the product’s strong market fit, which will help management in achieving its expectation of more than 700 enrolled Max locations. It will also augment the company’s position as an AI-led solutions provider. Strategic developments around TrussPoint Roofing & Exterior Renovations could also hold a meaningful weight for ServiceTitan, as the alliance would broaden its exposure to an expanding roofing and exterior services market.
