Apple Shipments: United States Apple Mac Shipments May Have Grown Over Holidays

“One thing both Gartner and IDC do agree on is that the PC market as a whole is doing worse than Apple. Last week IDC said U.S. PC shipments were off 4.5 percent, while Gartner said holiday PC shipments in America slid 2.1 percent from the same period in 2011.”

If the information from Gartner is accurate, as opposed to the findings from IDC, it is good news for Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL). Anytime there is a year over year growth in terms of sales and market share, things are looking up.

With all this in mind, how do you feel about Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL)’s Mac sales during the holiday quarter? Do you believe the numbers from Gartner or IDC?
