Twitter Inc (TWTR) Overcame Analysts’ Expectations Once, So Is This The Time For A Double?

Reminiscing what analysts said some time ago, when Twitter Inc (NYSE:TWTR) was just thinking to experiment a more aggressive tactic to monetize its strategies, it might be the case that the latest almost 12% drop for the last 5 days is a good buy possibility. The price is approximately $48.7 and seems to be heading downwards. So, can CNBC’s video uncover some buried possibilities for the social platform?

Twitter Inc (TWTR), NYSE:TWTR

“You need to take a step back and be like ‘How big can Twitter be?’. And Anthony Noto, the new CFO, talked yesterday about them having the largest audience network in the world and, of course, Twitter right now in terms of users is less than one fifth of Facebook,” said Anthony DiClemente.

Well, Twitter Inc (NYSE:TWTR) did exceed the expectations of $43 preset by the Nomura Securities analysts, but it’s not so clear if it will go much further. The ‘Buy Now’ strategy will surely pump some muscle in the stock price, but alone it will not work as a true game-changer. As noted above, Twitter Inc (NYSE:TWTR)’s fate relies heavily on the user-base despite its new interesting feature.

“When you look at the rate of monetization growth that they put up in the quarter, the fastest rate of growth in the last six quarters. They talked about pricing being up quarter over quarter 18%, so Twitter is seeing real pricing power. They have ad formats that brand marketers really can appreciate,” added Anthony DiClemente.

Twitter Inc (NYSE:TWTR)’s reached a period when it’s difficult to change the core product, because users are already used to the one offered, but monetization is a headache for the management team. A buy of the company’s stock can be a good possibility, because of the current meltdown that markets experience and the fact that the new feature hasn’t been implemented yet. Nevertheless, one shouldn’t be too bullish with Twitter Inc (NYSE:TWTR) without even relying on the financials that will be available in less than 2 weeks.
