Below you can find the top 5 countries with the largest white population outside of Europe. We excluded Europe from our list because a large number of European countries are predominantly white. Countries like Iceland, Poland, and Finland would have been at the top of this list.

5. Australia

Even though Australia is emphasizing its multiculturalism and ethnic diversity, 92%, or 20 million, of its population is of white origin. These people are mostly of British ancestry.

4. Canada

It is hard to distinguish the ethnical picture of Canada, since many of the people living there identify themselves simply as Canadians. However, an estimated number of white population in Canada could be around 20 million, or 70% of the country’s population.

3. Argentina

Argentina is surely among the top countries with largest white population outside of Europe. As much as 97% of the country is white, which is around 41 million people.

There are 96.3 million people which belong to “branco”, or white group of Brazilians. That is almost half of the country – 47%.

Finally, the winner among the countries with the largest white population outside of Europe is, you guessed it, the United States. Around 211.4 million people are white in the US, which is 75% of the country’s population. However, this figure has been declining lately, slowly but constantly. There was a decline of 0.005% in the period 2015-2016 followed by a decline of 0.016% in 2016-2017.
