In June, Colfax appointed Christopher Hix as the new CFO of the company. Mr. Hix had previously served as the CFO of both OM Group, Inc. (NYSE:OMG) and Robbins & Myers, Inc. (NYSE:RBN). Citigroup recently boosted its price target on Colfax to $26 from $25 but has a ‘Sell’ rating on its shares, which currently change hands at $30.88. Among the other notable hedge funds tracked by Insider Monkey, Charles Akre’s Akre Capital Management owns about 6.1 million shares of Colfax Corp (NYSE:CFX), trimming its stake by 20% during the second quarter.

Earlier this month, several sources reported that California-based call-center software company, Genesys, was in talks to acquire Interactive Intelligence. That news comes after Reuters reported late last month that the Indianapolis-based software and cloud-services company had hired Union Square Advisors as a strategic investment firm, which caused shares to spike. Its shares have gained a robust 89% this year. Interactive Intelligence Group Inc (NASDAQ:ININ) reported $109 million worth of sales for the second quarter, a 13% increase on a year-over-year basis. Michael Murphy and Daniel Donoghue’s Discovery Group owns 668,756 Interactive Intelligence shares as of June 30.
