Tesla Service and Warranty Program: Tesla Motors Making Car Ownership More Enjoyable

Tesla Service and Warranty Program: If you own a car, you know the joy it can bring to your life. You also know the pain it can cause. Fortunately, there are automobile manufacturers, such as Tesla Motors Inc (NASDAQ:TSLA), that are looking to make ownership more enjoyable.

Like everything the company does, Tesla is looking to standout when it comes to its service and warranty program. While many car manufacturers struggle to keep up with the consumer’s needs in these two areas, Tesla Motors Inc (NASDAQ:TSLA) is taking the bull by the horns as it moves forward.

Tesla Motors Inc (NASDAQ: TSLA)Last week, Tesla announced changes to its service and warranty program. While this may sound pretty boring on the surface, you know that this company doesn’t do anything that lacks excitement.

When it comes to servicing your vehicle, you know one thing to be true: no service is better than any service. That being said, you know your car will have to go into the shop for regular maintenance and other related issues.

Tesla is making this experience more enjoyable by “building a fleet of top of the line Model S loaners.” In other words, while your car is in for service you don’t have to worry about being without transportation. Instead, you can get behind the wheel of a Model S loaner and take off.

Better yet, Tesla Motors Inc (NASDAQ:TSLA) CEO Elon Musk added the following on the company’s blog:

“If you like the service loaner more than your other car, you can just keep it. This ensures that the service fleet is constantly refreshed and gives customers the best optionality.’

How cool is that?

Adding to the loaner car, Tesla owners will also enjoy the company’s valet service. With this, your vehicle will be picked up and replaced with a loaner based on your schedule. Once the service is complete, it will be returned to you. Once again, this is all free of charge.

Now, let’s take a closer look at the warranty terms. Many electric vehicle makers don’t cover the batter. This is not the case with Tesla Motors Inc (NASDAQ:TSLA). Here is what the company has to say:

“The battery pack in your car is obviously very important and expensive to replace. In developing the Model S, we took great care to ensure that the battery would protect itself, always retaining a few percent of energy. If something goes wrong, it is therefore our fault, not yours.”

If you have fallen in love with the cars offered by Tesla, you will really enjoy the service and warranty.
