Soroban Capital Partners Buys Plains GP Holdings On Its IPO

Soroban Capital, Plains GP: Just now, Soroban Capital Partners reported initiating a position in Plains GP Holdings LP (NYSE:PAGP). The fund now owns 7 million shares of the company, which represent 5.5% of the outstanding shares. At the current price of Plains GP Holdings’ stock, the value of the position amounts to some $156.2 million. Plains went on IPO today, which is considered the largest IPO this year, so far.
