Netflix, Inc. (NASDAQ:NFLX) subscribers will have a lot more content to binge watch as new movies and shows are coming to the entertainment content platform’s lineup.
According to US Weekly, Legally Blonde will be available for streaming from Netflix, Inc. (NASDAQ:NFLX) at the start of next month. According to The Source, Daredevil has also been renewed for a second season for the firm.
US Weekly notes that Legally Blonde 2: Red, White & Blonde will also be joining the Netflix, Inc. (NASDAQ:NFLX) lineup as well as the original series Grace and Frankie which is headlines by Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin. While the Reese Witherspoon movies debut on May 1, the original Grace and Frankie show will grace the firm’s platform on May 8.
Also coming to the platform on May 1 are The Prize Winner of Defiance, Ohio and Longmire season 3.
After the first season of Grace and Frankie becomes available on May 8, Fruitvale Station makes its debut on May 12. On May 14 and May 15, new episodes of Dance Moms and Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown season 4 will be available respectively.
Inglorious Basterds and The Transporter: The Series season 1 will be available on May 22 followed by, The Boxtrolls, Love and Honor and Graceland seasons 1 to 2 which will be available on May 23, 24 and 26 respectively.
As for the additional season of Daredevil on Netflix, Inc. (NASDAQ:NFLX), Marvel has confirmed that a second season of the show is indeed in the works.
According to The Source, Steven DeKnight, the showrunner for the first seasons of the show, will not be part of the upcoming season. However, the showrunner did say that he is confident in the new co-showrunners of the show. They are Doug Petrie of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Marco Ramirez of Sons of Anarchy. Drew Goddard is also said to be the producer of the second season of Daredevil on Netflix.
DeKnight has said that previous commitments will coincide with the production schedule of the new season of Daredevil which is why he is unable to work on the show.
