Microsoft Windows Blue: Microsoft Windows Blue Leaked, Many Ponder the Future

Microsoft Windows Blue: If you have yet to hear about Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) Windows Blue, it is safe to say that you will come across some information in the near future. In short, Windows Blue is the next version of Windows. While information not supposed to be released, it appears that some early screenshots have made it to the public.

Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT)Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) is one of the hedge fund industry’s most popular stock picks, and it’s always important to pay attention to the smart money (see just why here).

According to The Verge, “Build 9364, a partner version that was originally compiled on March 15th, has been made available on file sharing sites and includes some of the new changes that Microsoft is building into its significant Windows 8 update.”

The screenshots, some of which were posted at Winforum, show “arrangements and even a larger desktop one to its Start Screen, along with greater control over the color personalization options, and a whole lot more.”

While nobody knows for sure what Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) Windows  Blue is going to offer when finally released, it is safe to say that the screenshots are giving a pretty accurate idea of what the company is considering.

Other updates include new options in the settings screen. The Verge had this to say:

“Microsoft appears to be adding all of the necessary settings required to ensure tablet users don’t have to drop to the desktop Control Panel to change things. SkyDrive options are present, which appear to show greater integration with auto camera uploads and control over device back ups and files. There’s also an app settings section that surfaces options to change default apps and information on app sizes.”

All in all, it is easy to see that Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) is hoping to improve on the shortcomings of Windows 8. While the company may not be able to address everything this time around, Windows Blue is sure to be an upgrade in many departments.

It is important to note that Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) Windows Blue is not a new operating system. Instead, it should be considered a makeover for Windows 8.
