DVN, -10.16% fell 6% in premarket trading Wednesday, after the company posted weaker-than-expected fourth-quarter earnings late Wednesday and offered downbeat production guidance for 2018. Cowen analysts said the company’s earnings call later Wednesday “should focus more on DVN’s potential for cash return in dividends and share repurchases after it pays down debt. Asset sales, which we see the Eagle Ford as a potential candidate, could accelerate cash returns.” Cowen has an outperform rating on the stock.

What happened: Shares of Vonage Holding (NYSE:VG) fell as much as 15.9% lower on Wednesday morning, hampered by a mixed earnings report. As of 11:20 a.m. EST, the stock had recovered to a smaller 14.4% drop. So what: The digital-communications expert’s fourth-quarter earnings tripled year over year, to $0.09 per share, meeting Wall Street’s consensus expectations. On the top line, sales rose 3%, to $254 million, missing the Street’s targets by a rounding error.

Quad/Graphics, Inc. shares jumped 18.2 percent to $26.06 after the company reported upbeat Q4 earnings. The company also announced the acquisition of Ivie & Associates.

La-Z-Boy Incorporated (NYSE:LZB) (CNBC)
La-Z-Boy – La-Z-Boy reported adjusted quarterly profit of 51 cents per share, beating estimates by 5 cents a share. The furniture retailer’s revenue also beat forecasts. The company noted that same-store sales increased for the fourth consecutive quarter.
