Nokia Future Plans: Is Nokia Getting Serious About This Stunning Mobile Feature?

Nokia Future Plans: While Nokia Corporation (ADR) (NYSE:NOK) is doing everything it can to regain mobile phone market share, the once dominant company is aware that it will need to upgrade several key features of future releases in order to make this happen.

Nokia Corporation (ADR) (NOK)For this reason, there are rumors that Nokia Corporation (ADR) (NYSE:NOK) is working on a new camera for its upcoming EOS phone.

MyNokiaBlog.com is tuned into what is going on with this company. They are reporting that “a source familiar with Nokia’s plans” have shared details regarding the camera for its upcoming flagship phone.

According to the source, Nokia Corporation is testing on two models of the upcoming EOS, “which have the same specs but a different processor.”

At this time, the company is looking into both a dual core and quad core version running on Snapdragon 800.

While this sounds like a great idea, Nokia Corporation (ADR) (NYSE:NOK) is running into some issues primarily with batter performance in the quad core version. For this reason, it appears that the dual core variant may be the one that makes its way to market.

For those who are interested in video recording, at this point it does not appear that the new phone will support either 2K or 4K video. That being said, this is a possibility for future releases.

If you are interested in the EOS and all that it is going to offer, including an upgraded camera, you should take note that it is slated to be an AT&T exclusive offer upon release. From there, a global release is expected within three months.

The same article goes on to talk about additional features which include: 41 Mp, +/- aperture, FM transmitter, 2000 Mah batter, and a detailed camera interface.

If Nokia Corporation (ADR) (NYSE:NOK) is going to pick up more of the market in the near future, it has to do things that other companies are not. It needs to release phones with features that can at the very least compete directly with the competition.

It appears that this is what Nokia is trying to do with the camera in the soon to be released EOS.

Right now, nobody knows for sure exactly what the camera is going to offer but it is safe to say that Nokia Corporation (ADR) (NYSE:NOK) is putting a lot of time into the design and development of this key feature.
