Research firm Slice Intelligence reported on Monday that Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) managed to score one million pre-orders of its brand new smartwatch on Friday. This seems to be a big number and a great news for Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL), mainly due to the fact that the hot selling iPhones did not sell a great deal in the first weekend when it was first launched. But on the downside Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) also received couple of downgrades in the last week, which did not had a huge impact on the stock prices though. Meanwhile, Prudential Financial Market Strategist, Quincy Krosby, Penn Financial President, Matt McCall, A&G Capital CIO, Hilary Kramer, Plimsoll Mark’s Managing Director, Jim Awad and TPNN News Director, Scottie Nell Hughes talked on Fox Business about Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) stock and their view on whether to Hold, Buy or Sell the stock.
Krosby said that Apple is a very good company and she pointed out that this company has a different variety of products in its portfolio. She feels that when we think about value and growth, Apple is right there in the top. She said that it might have to take a bit of pull back but she feels that it is still a growth company. She added that when an investor owns Apple stock, they should keep holding it.
McCall said that Apple has a P/E ratio of 13, which is huge for a big company like Apple. So he also feels that people should hold on to Apple stock.
“If you take away the name Apple and just look at the pure valuations in the chart of this stock, its one of the most attractive in the market right now. Trading at a P/E ratio based on next years earnings of 13. Its tough to find a growth company that has a P/E ratio over there. So to me how’d you not own this stock,” McCall said.
Kramer said that Apple showed its flexibility in other business by jumping into Apple Pay. She feels that Apple pay might be very big for Apple Inc.
Awad said that the only disappointed people when Apple stock pulls back is high momentum high growth investors. He feels that Apple has all the financial characteristics that people look into.
