George Soros Claims Adriana Ferreyr Accusations are Preposterous

George Soros, the prominent hedge fund manager, is having girl problems and they are landing him in court. 

Adriana Ferreyr Claims ‘Severe Emotional Distress and Damages’

George Soros has been under fire lately over a lawsuit brought against him by the 28-year-old Brazilian soap star Adriana Ferreyr who claims the 81-year-old Soros “slapped her in the face and attempted to throttle her,” reports the DailyMail. Ferreyr is suing Soros for $50 million, stemming from “severe emotional distress and damages.” Ferreyr also claims that Soros, with whom she had been in a five-year relationship, reneged on an agreement to buy her a $1.9 million apartment in New York. According to the Daily Mail, Ferreyr explained, “We were in bed, and he just replied coldly and bluntly that he had given [the apartment] to his other girlfriend. I got emotional and cried . . . He just said, ‘I don’t care.’ I was in bed with him. It was horrifying for me.”

George Soros Says It’s ‘Patently Preposterous’

George Soros’s lawyer served Adriana Ferreyr’s attorney with papers on October 31 arguing the case should be dismissed reports the NYPost. In the papers, Soros explains he and Ferreyr had an “on-again, off-again and non-exclusive intimate relationship.” They also allege that Ferreyr “hoped to extract even more from Soros — millions more,” and calls her lawsuit “part of her continued quest to cash in on their casual relationship.” The papers call Ferreyr’s assertion that Soros would buy her an apartment “patently preposterous.”
