Steve Jobs Biography: First Chapter of Apple Steve Jobs Biography by Yamazaki Hits Shelves

Steve Jobs Biography: There is no denying there is a lot to be said about late Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) co-founder Steve Jobs. From the recent movie to the Walter Isaacson authorized biography, fans are able to learn more about Jobs than ever before.

Steve JobsApple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) may be the smart money’s second favorite publicly traded company but hedge funds have started dumping the Cupertino-based company in favor of a surprising financial stock (see which stock hedge funds are buying like crazy).

Now, there is even more information and intrigue out there. Japanese manga publishing house Kodansha has released the first chapter of  “Steve Jobs” in the April issue of Kiss magazine.

This story was first reported by Crunchyroll. For those who are unfamiliar with Kiss, it is a monthly Josei manga serial with a target audience of young adults.

Here is an excerpt from the Crunchyroll piece:

“Manga Taishō and Tezuka Osamu Cultural Prize winning manga author Mari Yamazaki, whose time travel public bath manga Thermae Romae was adapted into a live action movie and anime, is launching her manga biography of Apple co-founder Steve Jobs in the April issue of Josei anthology Kiss, on sale March 25th. With that hitting stands this week, Yahoo Japan has posted a preview of the first chapter.”

If you want to take a closer look at the first chapter, you can do so by visiting this Yahoo Japan page.

Of course, if you don’t speak Japanese you are going to have a difficult time reading the storyline. That being said, it is interesting nonetheless.

One of the first things you are sure to recognize is the unique artwork. In other words, this is not the type of biography that many have come to expect. Instead, it is laid out in comic book form with plenty of detailed images. This format may not be preferred by the majority, but it is important to note that the piece is being published in a publication targeted at young adults.

If you know anything about manga author Mari Yamazaki, you know that she is one of the best of the best when it comes to this type of work.

Although the first chapter has been released, additional chapters will be published in subsequent issues of Kiss.
