Facebook Inc (FB): A Picture Worth 1,000 Words … And Comments?

Now we understood the move in March for Facebook Inc (NASDAQ:FB) to roll out a comments feature that would re-organize and prioritize comments according to popularity, but we are a little confused as to the real purpose behind this capability – other than to perhaps establish some level of consistency across Facebook.

Other than that, this seems more like an aesthetic move and not one for any particular function to make Facebook necessarily more engaging or interactive a k a “sticky.” This could just be to break up the monotony of so much text on a News Feed (though George Takei’s posts seem to fill their share of space in reducing all the gray space).

What do you think about this new feature in Facebook Inc (NASDAQ:FB)? Would you like to see more images in your News Feed, or do you find them annoying already? Give us your feedback in the comments section below.
