DBPOWER RD-810 1200 Lumens LED Portable Projector Review

If you’re in the market for the best portable projectorlook no further because DBPOWER’s RD-180 1200 Lumens LED Portable Projector is all you need in life. Insider Monkey secured a 20% discount code from the company until the end of this year as well. Right now you can buy this amazing projector for under $60 on Amazon with the discount code. That’s why we also added DBPOWER’s RD-180 1200 Lumens LED Portable Projector to our list of 10 cool tech gifts and gadgets to buy on Amazon under 100 dollars.

Projectors have come a long way, and you no longer need to spend a few thousand dollars for a big, bulky projector, to pull off a successful family movie night. Simply put, this small, lightweight projector exceeded our expectations, especially since it’s priced under $100. Within minutes you can go from box, to watching a movie with the easy setup process. With an HDMI and USB connection, the projector can be plugged into a laptop, or you can plug streaming devices like a Roku or Chromecast.

In a dark room, the 1200 Lumens Projector’s image is brilliant and clear. The projector has a throw distance of around 1.5 – 5 meters and an image size that can go up to 150″. It’s native resolution is 800 x 480, but it supports 1080p. DP Power doesn’t recommend this projector for PowerPoint, Excel or any other business-related presentations, so you’ll want to stick with movies, shows, or music. Like most projectors, the internal speakers aren’t great and the fan pretty much drowns everything out, however, you can plug headphones or speakers directly into the back of the projector, so that’s a simple fix. There is also no SD port, so you will not be able to plug a SD card directly into the projector (you’ll need a SD reader) to display images.

Inside the box, you’ll find the projector, a remote control (batteries not included), a 3-in-1 AV cable, and the user manual and information about the three year warranty.
