Icahn is definitely a good investor. Following his stock picks is a good way to generate high returns. Investing in Icahn Enterprises LP (NASDAQ:IEP) and CVR Energy, Inc. (NYSE:CVI) is a great idea because Icahn is the chairman of both companies.

Over the past ten years, Icahn Enterprises recorded 20% average annual returns. Since Icahn initiated his position in CVR Energy, the stock increased by 104% including dividend. Both companies have an annual dividend; $4 and $3 per share, respectively.

With Netflix, Inc. (NASDAQ:NFLX), Icahn is convinced that the company has good management, and it is a dominant player in the video streaming market. Analysts have positive recommendations and higher price target for shares of the company. The stock recorded an 80% increase has been the second biggest winner in the S&P 500 so far this year. I strongly believe that Netflix is poised to trade higher because it is expanding internationally. Hastings recently announced that its subscribers watched 4 billion hours on Netflix, Inc. (NASDAQ:NFLX) in just three months.

Icahn believes that Icahn Enterprises LP (NASDAQ:IEP) is trading at discount of its book value, and CVR Energy, Inc. (NYSE:CVI) is currently trading at around $48, lower than its peak at $62.50 over the 52-week range. His piece of advice, “When you conclude something is really cheap, you’ve got to be willing to load up.”
