The company faced major challenges during the recession from 2007 to 2009, forcing management to implement significant changes. It was a difficult time for both the business and its shareholders.

The stock trades about 80% below the levels seen before the Great Recession. However, it has been performing well in 2025, surging by over 42% since the start of the year.
