A former employee of Charles Schwab, Lee Munson recently noted on the Schwab Network that he owns Nvidia (NVDA) and Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) stock.
Munson, who’s also bullish on Alphabet (GOOG) and Amazon (AMZN), seeks to invest in firms that benefit from the expansion of AI by large companies.
He is currently the Chief Investment Officer of Portfolio Wealth Advisors.
Munson’s Views on AI Stocks
When it comes to AI, NVDA and AMD “are in the room where it happens,” Munson said, likely alluding to the fact that both make chips which are used to develop AI.
Meanwhile, large firms will use GOOG and AMZN to enhance their AI with “bolt ons,” the investor noted.
And high amounts of revenue will be generated from very large firms developing new ways to use AI, Munson indicated.
The investor said he was “still looking at the larger names that can deliver” such use cases involving AI.
Additional Comments on AMD
Investors are underestimating AMD’s gaming business, according to Munson. “Young people say there’s a shortage of gaming chips,” he added.
