Cascade Investment LLC Buys Some More Republic Services Inc. (RSG) Shares

According to a recent Form 4 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission, Cascade has acquired 255,730 shares in one transaction at a price of $37.22 per unit. Following this move, the fund has taken its stake in Republic Services, Inc. (NYSE:RSG) to 93.65 million shares.

Hedge fund gurus have different opinions with regard to Republic Services, Inc. (NYSE:RSG). Jim Simons is optimistic about the prospects of the company and has boosted his fund’s investment by 147% during the first quarter of this year. Renaissance Technologies reported ownership of a little over 821,200 shares in its latest 13F filing. Mario Gabelli and David E.
