Broadcom (AVGO) Launches New Wi-Fi 8 and Broadband Chips to Strengthen Networking Portfolio

(NASDAQ:AVGO) introduced a series of new systems-on-chip products for Wi-Fi 8 routers and mesh systems. Dubbed the BCM6772, BCM6774, and BCM6776, the devices combine application processors, network processors, Wi-Fi airwaves, and multi-gigabit Ethernet elements on a single chip.

According to the company, components that formerly needed several chips are combined in the integrated method. Every device comes with a network processing engine and a quad-core CPU complex.
