Big 5 Sporting Goods Corp (BGFV): Stadium Capital Management Reduces Its Stake

Alexander Medina Seaver‘s Stadium Capital Management has lowered its stake in Big 5 Sporting Goods Corp (NASDAQ:BGFV) according to an amended 13D filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission. The fund currently owns 2.7 million shares of the company, which account for 12.1% of its outstanding stock. Previously, Stadium Capital owned 2.9 million shares as disclosed in its 13F filing for the end of June.

Big 5 Sporting Goods is a retailer of sporting goods, selling a variety of sports accessories and products. Since the beginning of the year, the company’s shares have gained 30.83%. Earlier this month, Deutsche Bank AG boosted its price target on Big 5 Sporting Goods’ shares to $10 from $9, while maintaining its ‘Hold’ rating on the stock.
