Apple Inc. (AAPL) To Start Shipping iWatch As Early As March: Ming Chi Kuo

Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL)  could start shipping the much talked about iWatch as early as March according to MacRumors, which is quoting KGI Securities analyst Ming Chi Kuo. The analyst has already reiterated that the giant hardware maker is in line to beat expectations on iPhone shipments that could clock highs of 61 million in 2015.

Apple, is AAPL a good stock to buy, population density, Chitika, educational level, iPhone usage, U.S.,

The analyst also notes that Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL)  may look to share more details about its first wearable before the official launch; giving more details on the device’s battery life, as well as initiate the handling of pre-orders. Kuo expects Apple to ship up to 2.8 million units of the watch in the first quarter of 2015 as the company looks to ramp in as many sales as possible.

The unveiling of the Watch should be good news for Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL)’s investors who have seen the stock clock all-time highs in the market in the wake of the unveiling of iPhone 6. It is still unclear whether Apple Watch will command the much-needed hype and frenzy like iPhone 6 to beat expectations on sales. A number of Wall Street analysts have already aired the skepticism on the watch hitting the highs in terms of sales as iPhone 6.

The fact that Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) will look to tap into a market that already has products embedded in is sure to be a hard task especially in fending off competition. A good marketing strategy, as well as capabilities and features of the iWatch, should play an important role if Apple is to enjoy as much success as it would love in the fast growing wearable space.

The KGI Securities analyst is also affirming that Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL)  is all but set to launch a 12-inch MacBook Air in line with earlier reports that had indicated the company’s supplier Quanta Computer, was ramping up production.

The 12-inch MacBook Air is poised to come with a fan-less design that is ultra-thin with a high resolution Retina display powered by Intel Corporation (NASDAQ:INTC)’s Core M processors. Reports also indicate it will be the first of Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL)’s device to utilize the new reversible USB Type C connector; to be used for charging.
