Apple Technical Support: Apple Is Top Dog In This Service Category

Apple Technical Support: No matter if you know a lot about computers or have little knowledge of your machine, it is safe to say that you will need professional advice from time to time. Fortunately, there are companies, such as Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL), that care about your well being.

We all know that some companies offer better technical support than others. However, if you believe what Consumer Reports has to say, you will realize that Apple is the cream of the crop.

According to the firm’s recent reader survey, “Apple bested its own scores from last year’s survey and walloped other brand-name computer manufacturers.”

Apple Inc. (AAPL) to be Added to Several WisdomTree ETFsAs you can see, now only did Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) come out on top but the company put the rest of the competition to shame. As you can imagine, this is exactly what the Cupertino based company is trying to do.

When compared to other big name brands, Apple showed that it is truly top dog.

As far as online and phone support is concerned, the tech titan knows a thing or two about making people happy. This includes finer details of the process such as: ease of making contact, clarity of advice, tech knowledge, patience, and follow-up.

Of course, Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) does not stop there. The company also received high ratings for its in store support, known as the Genius Bar. For those who have questions and don’t want to get service online or over the phone, stopping by a local store is the only way to go.

The study also shows that “Apple was also able to solve more computer problems” regardless of the problem or how the support was given.

It is important to note that independent repair shops actually scored closest to Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL), meaning that other major brands were left in the dust.

There has never been a better time than now for competitors to devote time and resources to tech support. The same study added:

“24 to 40 percent of respondents who sought phone or online help from makers of Windows-based computers said the staff’s patience, knowledge, or clarity was fair at best.”

As you can see, this is a major issue for people who are using Windows-based computers. Fortunately, for Apple, this is something that could work in the company’s favor in the future.
