iPhone 5S Release Schedule: While some tech companies have no problem sharing news with the public, including product launch dates, this is not how Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) operates. Instead, the Cupertino based company has the reputation for keeping important information close to its vest.

Tim CookOf course, the more private Apple tries to be the more people there are who want to dig up information before everybody else. This appears to hold true with French website Nowhereelse.fr, as they have released information on a “leaked document” talking about a potential Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) iPhone 5S being released to the public this summer.

For those among you who don’t read French, we have taken the time to translate the document and pull out some of the most important information.

Here is what you need to know:

“A document purporting to circulate within the premises of the Japanese telecom operator KDDI and specifically those of its mobile branch AU suggests that the release of the iPhone 5S is scheduled for the month of July.”

In other words, the website has gotten its hands on a document, intended for Japanese telecom operator KDDI, stating that Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) has scheduled an iPhone 5S release for July.

Of course, nobody knows for sure if the document is authentic or if this is just another Apple rumor that apperas to be making its rounds.

The document discusses the new smartphone hitting retailers on June 20, for pre-orders, with a release sometime in July.

Along with this, the same website is reporting that the Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) iPhone 5S will be powered by Apple iOS 7 and offer a “NPC 13Mpx against 8MP iPhone 5.”

A move like this would likely surprise many people, however, it appears that it is a real possibility if this document is found to be accurate.

Regardless of when the Apple iPhone 5S finally makes its way to the public, many will be interested to learn more about the upgrades over the current generation smartphone.

Is it possible or even probable that the new Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) iPhone will rely on iOS 7? Will the camera be upgraded? Are there any other features that will make this phone a must have?

For now, Apple continues to keep quiet about the future. This is particularly true when it comes to launch dates.

Nobody knows if the document obtained by Nowhereelse.fr is legit, but Apple fans are likely to get excited anyway.
