Apple Curved Glass: Apple Curved Glass Watch, Like Something from the Future

Apple Curved Glass: One thing is for sure: if Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) takes the time to build it, you can expect lots of people to pay attention. Of course, this doesn’t mean that the Cupertino-based company is able to build just any device and have success with it. For this reason, Apple is extremely selective as to which products hit the market. On top of this, new designs and devices are kept top secret for as long as possible.

Apple Inc (AAPL)It is possible that the first Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) watch could make its way to the public at some point in the near future. Perhaps it would be called the iWatch?

Of course, Apple is not going to manufacture just any old watch. Instead, you can be rest assured that it would stand out in the crowd.

There are rumors swirling that a new watch made of curved glass could be in the experimental phase.

Here is what an article on Yahoo Finance had to say:

“In its headquarters in Cupertino, Calif., Apple is experimenting with wristwatch-like devices made of curved glass, according to people familiar with the company’s explorations, who spoke on the condition that they not be named because they are not allowed to publicly discuss unreleased products. Such a watch would operate on Apple’s iOS platform, two people said, and stand apart from competitors based on the company’s understanding of how such glass can curve around the human body.”

As you can see, this is more than just another rumor. It appears that people from inside Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL)’s walls are sharing the information about the potential for a state of the art watch.

Making things even more exciting are previous reports that Apple was already working on a watch with a 1.5 inch display and Bluetooth capabilities.

Sarah Rotman Epps, an analyst for Forrester, added the following in the same article:

“Apple’s certainly made a lot of hiring in that area. Apple is already in the wearable space through its ecosystem partners that make accessories that connect to the iPhone. This makes Apple potentially the biggest player of the wearables market in a sort of invisible way.”

While Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) may not be at the lead in this market right now, you never know what is going on behind closed doors. As Epps says, Apple could be the “biggest player” in the market despite the fact that the company is “invisible” right now.
