Both companies “have to prove” themselves, she added.

The AI-Related Pain Points of GOOG and AAPL

An Apple Inc (AAPL) executive recently stated that the Google searches on its Safari internet browser had dropped in April. The data point was revealed as AI models are increasingly being used as substitutes for Google searches by a significant proportion of consumers.

The news, which has caused many pundits to express concerns about GOOG’s longer-term outlook, and the reaction to the data point likely were factors in Bosa’s assessment of the tech giant.

Meanwhile, Apple is being pushed “to give users AI-powered applications,”  the reporter stated.

Both Alphabet Inc (GOOG )and Apple Inc (AAPL) will have to show “that they can deliver on apps and products,” she  said.
