Ranking 1st on our list of 25 youngest countries in the world, Niger has 60.7% of its population under 20 years old. The median age is 15 and the life expectancy is 62.4. Niger has a population of 24,207,000 with a 2019 GDP of $12.91 billion. It is a poor economy, and 40% of its GDP comes from agriculture with a poverty rate of 42.9% in 2020.
