Jane Fraser is a British-American banking executive and CEO of Citigroup since March 2021. As a Girton College, Cambridge, and Harvard Business School alumna, she spent 10 years at McKinsey & Company, becoming a partner before joining Citigroup in 2004. In 2019, she became President and CEO of Citigroup’s consumer banking division. Notably, in September 2020, she was announced as the successor to Michael Corbat, becoming the first woman to lead a major US bank. Fraser has been recognized on Fortune’s “Most Powerful Women in Business” list and named the “Number 1 Woman to Watch” by American Banker for two consecutive years.
