Rima Senvest Management Reduces Investment In NutriSystem Inc. (NTRI)

Richard Mashaal and his fund, Rima Senvest Management, have decided it is time to reduce exposure to NutriSystem Inc. (NASDAQ:NTRI). According to a recent filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission, Rima Senvest has dumped 1.66 million shares, leaving it with 1.29 million shares, which account for approximately 4.5% of the company’s common stock.

Hedge fund guru, Jim Simons has reduced his fund’s exposure to NutriSystem Inc. (NASDAQ:NTRI), by 22% during the first quarter of 2014. At the end of the quarter, Renaissance Technologies has reported ownership of 1.57 million shares of the company. Greg Taxin, the manager of Clinton Group, has also chosen to reduce his fund’s investment in the company. Clinton Group reportedly holds 1.3 million shares, down 23% for the quarter. Ken Heebner, on the other hand, is optimistic about the prospects of NutriSystem Inc. (NASDAQ:NTRI) and has increased his fund’s stake in the company by 30% during the same period of time. His fund, Capital Growth Management, has reported ownership of 845,000 shares in its latest 13F filing.
