Is Apple Inc. (AAPL) Adding Color To This Lineup?

While many people are looking forward to the potential of a low cost Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) iPhone, this is far from the only rumor that is circulating regarding the Cupertino based company.

Along with rumors about the iPhone, things are starting to heat up on the iPad tablet front as well. Of course, this is just another day at work for Apple. The company is used to the many rumors floating around, and of course, it doesn’t do itself any favors by keeping so private.

For now, let’s get back to the Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) iPhone. In addition to the rumor about a cheaper model set to debut at some point in 2013, there are now reports by the Japanese blog Macotakara that Cupertino is going to bring some color to its future lineup.

Rather than be stuck choosing from white or black, if you are interested in the next generation iPhone you may be able to select from a variety of colors. While this is something that many people have been asking about for quite some time, it appeared to have taken a back seat as of late to the cheaper iPhone rumors.

However, this is sure to stir things up once again. If Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) decides to move in this direction, you can be rest assured that a growing number of people are going to make the change to the next generation device for no reason more than the color. Could this go a long way in helping Apple boost sales? While there is no way of saying for sure, the answer is probably “yes.”

It appears, at least according to this source, that Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) has its sights set on offering a variety of colors for both the traditional iPhone as well as the device that is going to be offered at a cheaper price.

With Apple iPhone rumors continuing to heat up, only time will tell what is true and what is not. However, this rumor is sure to excite a lot of Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) fans from one side of the world to the next.
