BlackBerry Ltd (BBRY), Google Inc (GOOG) and Apple Inc. (AAPL): Personalities Compared

What type of smartphone do you use? A BlackBerry Ltd (NASDAQ:BBRY) device? A unit powered by Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOG)’s Android operating system? How about an Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) iPhone?

No matter your answer, it is safe to say that you are part of one team and one team only. While BlackBerry and its CEO Thorsten Heins are hoping to make a comeback in this market, Apple, led by Tim Cook, and Google, under the watchful eye of Larry Page, are already at the top.

Do you Have a BlackBerry Ltd (NASDAQ:BBRY) Smartphone Personality?

The type of smartphone you use may say more about your personality than you realize

The Daily Mail (thanks to Victoria Woollaston) recently took a closer look at this, thanks to a survey of 2,000 owners spread across the three major smartphone brands.

The final results may not be true across the board, but the information is interesting nonetheless.

Let’s start with BlackBerry Ltd (NASDAQ:BBRY). These users are said to earn the most money and have more friends than users of the other two smartphone brands. Sounds like a good deal to me!

Moving onto Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL), the study determined that these people travel more than others and are more vain.

What about Google Inc. (NASDAQ:GOOG) Android? Well, these users are known for having the best manners while also having more success in the kitchen.

All for Fun

As you can see, this study by the Daily Mail was all for fun. That being said, it does bring some truth to the surface. When you think about it, a person’s smartphone can say a lot about him or her.

Think about all the Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) fanboys out there. These people hang on everything Cupertino does, and will go to great lengths to defend the company.

Then you have BlackBerry Ltd (NASDAQ:BBRY). Surely you remember the days when every businessman was carrying one of these devices.

Finally, Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOG) often times flies under the radar due to the fact that its operating system is spread across a number of smartphones, with Samsung being the most successful.

Do you agree with the findings of this study? Does your smartphone match your personality?

No matter if you carry a BlackBerry Ltd (NASDAQ:BBRY), Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) or Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOG) device, it definitely says something about you. Does it also say something about Christopher Hansen, Zeke Ashton and David Einhorn?
