In today’s day and age, there is nothing more important to people than being able to stay connected to the internet (learn why here). This is the case now and is only going to become more true in the future. With this in mind, any Wi-Fi connection issues are magnified. Unfortunately for Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL), this is something the company is dealing with in a big way.

A growing number of MacBook Air users are complaining about Wi-Fi issues. To get a better idea of just how bad this problem has become, you don’t have to look any further than the Apple support forums.

Apple Inc. (AAPL)As you read through the many complaints, you will find that Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) is dealing with a serious issue. This is nothing that Cupertino is unable to fix, but it is something that has quite a few users upset. Even more so, the question is this: how many users who are not complaining on the forum are facing the same issue?

Here is just one of the many complaints:

“I have a brand new Macbook Air which is able to connect to the internet for just a minute or two before suddenly it drops out. This is even though the signal still shows at full strength and all my other devices are still able to surf the net as per normal.”

This pretty much sums up what some users are facing. This is one of those problems that can be extremely frustrating, especially for the Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) Macbook Air users who are not experiencing the issue regularly. In other words, they have a connection sometimes but it goes away just when it is least expected.

According to 9 to 5 Mac, Apple is looking into the problem and hoping to find a solution in the near future.

“According to a source at Apple, the company is working to independently identify what exactly is causing the new WiFi-related problems. According to this person, AppleCare and Apple Store Genius Bar employees have been instructed to “capture” affected MacBook Air units. These units will then be sent back to Apple for further testing so a solution could hopefully be achieved.”

For the time being, those who are impacted by this Wi-Fi connectivity issue on their Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) Macbook Air can learn more through the company’s support forum. And of course, getting professional help may be necessary.
