For more information on where things are headed and whether or not Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) is going to be a major player, we don’t have to look any further then the  “Movers & Shakers” video segment published by Bloomberg Television.

In this segment, “Bloomberg’s Betty Liu reports on Apple’s CEO Tim Cook speaking of new technologies and vision for the company.”

Here is what Liu had to say:

“Our mover and shaker this morning is Apple CEO Tim Cook who has been facing criticism for the tech giants relatively slow pace of innovation recently. Late yesterday Cook said that the company has several more game changers in the pipeline and some incredible plans for the future.

While some people are excited about Cook’s promise to bring some game changers to the market in the near future, others are tired of hearing the same old line. In other words, they want to see action as opposed to words.

Liu then went on to add the following:

“Cook spoke about television as well a wearable computing.” The video then cuts to Cook discussing the future of wearable technology, and how he feels Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) fits in.

To end the segment, Liu makes a good point saying:

“As long as they make the wearables look nice as well.”

While Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) has never had issues designing aesthetically pleasing products in the past, something that is worn on the body is a different beast entirely.
