This may sound like a relatively simple upgrade, but it is one that is sure to make life easier on a lot of people. Not to mention the fact that it has the capability of potentially helping Apple increases its iTunes Store sales.

Everything is explained in simple terms on this Apple webpage. Here are your options, if you are using iTunes 11 or later to purchase a TV season, for example:

“Clicking the Later button will not download any episodes. You’ll be able to download your episodes at any time from iTunes in the Cloud.

Clicking the Download All button will download all available episodes.

Clicking the Download button will download the earliest unseen episode of the season.”

While you are still able to do things the way you always have, Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) has added the ability to click the later button for future download in the Cloud.

In other words, “buy now and download later.”

It is important to note that this new purchase and download option is only available in countries where Apple Inc. supports iTunes in the Cloud. If you are worried that you don’t have access to this service, you can check the list for a better idea of where you stand.

Now that Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) has upgraded to this option, it will be interesting to see how many people take advantage in the months to come. It is safe to say that many users will not hear about this feature until they actually decide to download a movie or music. It is then that they will realize there is no rush.

This is a simple, yet effective improvement to the iTunes Store that will allow more people to download music and video without any time constraints. Do you plan on taking advantage of this feature?
