Apple Inc. (AAPL), Google Inc (GOOG): Are These Entities Anti-Competitive?

While it may seem noble to give Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) iOS and Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOG) Android users  the freedom to choose which app store to use for their purchases and downloads,  could this more trouble than it’s worth? Could you imagine a world where both the Apple App Store and Google Play will have to offer  all apps from all platforms for sale or download in their respective stores?

Might that actually be a revenue-generator for those companies that run the app stores, and thus end up being a boon for those  investors in these companies, like fund manager David Einhorn (see his full equity portfolio)? Let us know your thoughts about this in the comments section below.
