Yahoo Executive’s Departure

Editor’s Note: Yesterday we published an article about a tip we received regarding executive departures at Yahoo. The article wrongly stated that Yvonnce Chang was fired amid a significant decline in revenues in the region. An attorney for Yvonne Chang contacted us and stated that Ms Chang was not “fired” or laid off as our article suggested but in fact resigned from Yahoo! on 27 September 2014 so that she could take up the position of President of Eastern Broadcasting Co, a Carlyle portfolio company, with effect from 17 November 2014. Insider Monkey regrets that it didn’t wait to seek out a comment from the executive and apologize for the error.
