William C. Martin And Raging Capital Management Further Increase Holding Of 1-800-FLOWERS.COM, Inc. (FLWS)

William C. Martin is bullish on 1-800-FLOWERS.COM, Inc. (NASDAQ:FLWS) and has increased his fund’s stake in this company. As reported in a recent filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission, Martin’s Raging Capital Management has acquired 1.43 million shares to take their investment to a total of 4.24 million shares or 15.6% of the company’s common stock. At the end of June, Martin and Raging Capital had increased their stake through the addition of almost 1 million shares.

Legendary investor Mario Gabelli is also bullish on this stock, having increased his fund’s stake in this company by 15% during the first quarter of 2014. Gabelli and GAMCO hold 720,000 shares of 1-800-FLOWERS.COM, Inc. (NASDAQ:FLWS) according to their latest 13F filing. Ken Griffin also likes this stock and has initiated a new position for his fund during the same period of time.
