Labor union in Germany has begun a 3 day strike demanding better pay and working conditions for labors in Amazon.com, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMZN) warehouses.

“The strike is a 3 day strike in more than half of Amazon distribution centers in Germany,” MacDonald reported.

She added that the Wall Street is reacting to this as Amazon.com, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMZN) stock is not moving. But, she mentioned that there are some talks in Wall Street that a successful end to the strike by Amazon.com, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMZN) workers in Germany might spark such strikes in other distribution centers as well.

“But, the talk on Wall Street is, if this strike is successful, if they do win better pay and working conditions, it could be used as a template for other potential strikes at other distribution centers,” MacDonald said.

MacDonald added that this the peak holiday season and people are expecting Amazon.com, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMZN) to deliver their Christmas presents on time. Amazon.com, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMZN) has already suffered a lot of criticisms for delay in delivery in 2013, and definitely doesn’t want to repeat it again.
