Bryan Garnier has developed a strong foothold advising European corporates and investors. Its acquisition supports Stifel Financial Corp. (NYSE:SF)’s ongoing efforts to scale globally, following its previous M&A dominance in North America.

With its legal rebranding process already initiated, as of today, Bryan Garnier will gradually operate under the Stifel brand. The acquisition now strengthens Stifel Financial Corp. (NYSE:SF)’s standing as a global capital markets company with more than 10,000 professionals across 400 offices worldwide.

The combined experience amounts to over 500 European transactions since 2020, and the merger potentially improves cross-border M&A execution for the company. Olivier Garnier, Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Bryan Garnier, who will take on the role of Chairman of Stifel Europe, made the following comment:

“We have closely followed Stifel’s impressive growth and are eager to join forces with a partner that shares our focus on premier client service and execution.”

The announcement follows recent analyst sentiment. TD Cowen’s William Katz reiterated a Hold rating on May 23, setting a $93 price target while Wells Fargo maintained a Buy with a $102 target.
