SolarCity Corp (NASDAQ:SCTY) (San Mateo, California, US) has reached a lease financing agreement with Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. (NYSE:GS) (New York, New York, US) to provide more than USD 500 million in funding to support an estimated 110 MW of solar photovoltaic (PV) projects. SolarCity Corp (NASDAQ:SCTY) and Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. (NYSE:GS) initiated the agreement in 2012 and expanded per its initial terms at the end of April. The combined lease financing is the largest of its kind in the United States for homeowners, and has already enabled the deployment of 26 MW of PV.
