Similarly, the company’s revenue exceeded the analyst expectations but saw a decline of 6.5% year-over-year, reaching $8.55 billion. Additionally, on July 16, 2025, Schlumberger Limited (NYSE:SLB) announced the completion of the ChampionX Corporation acquisition. Valued at $8.2 billion, the acquisition was an all-stock deal. The company began consolidating ChampionX into its results in August 2025. It anticipates achieving $400 million in annual pretax synergies within three years of closing.

Following the announcements, on September 12, 2025, the company’s Chief Legal Officer and Secretary, Dianne Ralston, made a bold move by selling 39,727 shares in a transaction valued at $1,433,350, signaling a boost in the stock’s value.

In addition to the growth in value, the company promises a modest income for its shareholders with its dividend yield of 3.23%.
