Roystone Capital Partners Adds To Position In Sinclair Broadcast Group Inc (SBGI)

Richard Barrera is still optimistic about the prospects of Sinclair Broadcast Group Inc (NASDAQ:SBGI) and has further boosted his fund’s stake in the company. Barrera’s Roystone Capital Partners has disclosed the addition of 282,800 shares to its portfolio in a recent filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission. Following this move, Barrera and Roystone have amassed 3.78 million shares of Sinclair Broadcast Group Inc (NASDAQ:SBGI), which account for 5.3% of the company’s common stock.

Eric W. Mandelblatt, the manager of Soroban Capital Partners, has also become a fan of this company and has initiated a position for his fund during the first quarter of this year. In its latest 13F filing, Soroban Capital has reported ownership of 3.44 million shares of Sinclair Broadcast Group Inc (NASDAQ:SBGI). Martin D. Sass has decided this stock is still a good investment and has boosted his fund’s stake by 40% during the same period of time, taking it to 2.78 million shares. The same is valid for Glenn J. Krevlin, who has increased his fund’s stake by 92%. Krevlin’s Glenhill Advisors reportedly holds 2.54 million shares.
