Its shares are up by 57% over the past year and by 48% since Cramer discussed the firm on Mad Money. Throughout 2025, the CNBC TV host had been quite optimistic about Robinhood Markets, Inc. (NASDAQ:HOOD). He repeatedly praised the firm’s technology, its CEO, and its ability to facilitate the wealth transfer from older to younger Americans. The stock closed 15.8% higher on September 8th as it was revealed that the firm would join the prestigious S&P 500 stock index. Then, Robinhood Markets, Inc. (NASDAQ:HOOD) closed 12.3% higher on September 29th, with media reports attributing the bump to a growth in trades in prediction markets, according to an X post by CEO Vlad Tenev. Year-to-date, Robinhood Markets, Inc. (NASDAQ:HOOD)’s shares are down by 43%, with some reports suggesting that bearishness in the crypto market is to blame. Here is what Cramer said about Robinhood Markets, Inc. (NASDAQ:HOOD) on March 17th:

“No, you should be buying more Robinhood. I think that Vlad Tenev has totally gotten it together. I think that he is smoking the rest of the industry. I like his new predictions thing he just started. You’ve got a winner. Get bigger.”
