In the past, BlackBerry users complained about the fact that there were not as many apps as the competition. Fortunately, the company has set out to change this as a means of keeping up with the companies that are currently at the head of the smartphone market.

This is a big announcement for Research In Motion Ltd (NASDAQ:BBRY) Blackberry as the company continues to fight to recapture some of the smartphone market share it lost over the past few years.
