Martin Whitman’s Fund Drops Some Forest City, Bel Fuse Shares

Third Avenue Management, Forest City, Bel Fuse: Martin Whitman‘s Third Avenue Management just now disclosed two moves in its Forest City Enterprises, Inc. (NYSE:FCE.A) and Bel Fuse, Inc. (NASDAQ:BELFB) holdings. In a filing with the SEC, Third Avenue reported that it now owns some 7.13 million class A shares of Forest City, down from 10.52 million reported in its latest 13F. The new stake represents 3.97% of the class.

In Bel Fuse, the hedge fund’s position now involves 530,821 class B shares, also down, from 839,770 shares disclosed in the 13F form. The new position amasses 5.75% of the class.
