iPad Mini Retina: Long-Awaited Apple Device Could Be Coming Soon

iPad Mini Retina: Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) is one of those companies that never gets a rest when it comes to rolling out new products. While the Cupertino based company always works on its own terms, it also knows that consumers are watching and waiting for the next big thing.

With that being said, Apple is serious about giving the people what they want. And it appears that what the people want right now is an iPad mini with Retina display.

Apple Inc (AAPL)Although there have been rumors that this Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) iPad model would be hitting the market soon enough, the company has yet to come out and discuss it with the public.

However, according to a recent report by CNET, production of this model may be getting underway within the next few months.

This information is stemming from Richard Shim, an analyst at NPD DisplaySearch. He said “we should see the start of mass production of the panels in June or July.”

If true, this would mean that the new Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) iPad mini would be released at some point towards the last few months of 2013.

He also added that LG Display is in charge of manufacturing the display, and that Samsung is not involved in the process. This is no surprise, being that Apple wants to distance itself from Samsung as much as possible in the years to come.

He said, “Samsung is currently not in the iPad Mini and they won’t be in the next generation. LGD is becoming a much bigger supplier than before.”

With a screen resolution of 2,048×1,536, this is just what consumers have been longing for since the first Apple iPad mini was released at the end of 2012.

This is something Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) has to do, as other companies continue to roll out smaller tablet devices in hopes of attracting a larger audience. With a Retina display, a feature that people have fallen in love with in other devices, Apple will be able to give consumers something unique.

If Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) is successful in adding Retina display to its newest iPad mini, it is safe to say that it will change this segment of the table industry forever. Now, competitors will need to up their game in an attempt to stay on par with Cupertino.

Over the next few months, there is sure to be a lot of information pertaining to the next iPad mini. Until then, check out the video on the next page for more information:
