JPMorgan Lifts PT on FedEx Corporation (FDX) to $424 From $294 – Here’s Why

On March 10, JPMorgan lifted the price target on FedEx Corporation (NYSE:FDX) to $424 from $294 while maintaining a Neutral rating on the shares. The firm told investors that it updated the company’s model ahead of the earnings report.

In a separate development, FedEx Corporation (NYSE:FDX) announced on March 12 the launch of a new reusable packaging system for B2B shippers developed in collaboration with Returnity. Returnity is a reusable packaging provider specializing in circular logistics and features a FedEx-specific box design. The collaboration enables FedEx B2B customers to make an easy switch from corrugated to reusable boxes within their supply chain without having to incur the handling fees typically applied to alternative packaging formats.

FedEx Corporation (NYSE:FDX) also received a rating update from Bernstein on March 5. The firm lifted the price target on the stock to $457 from $427, maintaining an Outperform rating on the shares and telling investors that the FedEx bull case is built on cyclical leverage and the Freight spin. It added that the conflict in the Middle East adds a new dynamic to the equation, namely, better airfreight rates.
