Chief Minister N.Rangasamy who declared open the renovated premises of the bank here today also rolled out the core banking solutions facility and said it would ensure customer oriented services in a robust IT environment. He said that operational efficiency of the bank in a cost- effective manner would be ensured through the introduction of the International Business Machines Corp. (NYSE:IBM) smart cloud for its core banking solutions.

IBM Opens New Data Center in Lima, Peru (Nearshore Americas)
U.S. technology giant International Business Machines Corp. (NYSE:IBM) has launched one more cloud data center in Peru to meet what it describes as ‘a growing demand for IT services’ in the Andean nation. The data center, situated at the Technology Campus of La Molina in Lima, will offer cloud computing and Big Data analytics services. Built at a cost of $8 million, the data center is scalable, resilient and energy efficient, says International Business Machines Corp. (NYSE:IBM), adding that the center will also contribute to the competitiveness and productivity of organizations in Peru.
