(NYSE:FUBO). Islet Management has a $89.2 million position in the stock, comprising 2.2% of its 13F portfolio. On Islet Management’s heels is CaaS Capital, managed by Frank Fu, which holds a $22.9 million position; the fund has 0.2% of its 13F portfolio invested in the stock. Remaining professional money managers that are bullish encompass Nancy Zevenbergen’s Zevenbergen Capital Investments, Michael Kharitonov and Jon David McAuliffe’s Voleon Capital and Ken Griffin’s Citadel Investment Group. As you can see these stocks had an average of 19.4 hedge funds with bullish positions and the average amount invested in these stocks was $214 million. That figure was $208 million in FUBO’s case. Federated Hermes, Inc. (NYSE:FHI) is the most popular stock in this table. On the other hand Lexington Realty Trust (NYSE:LXP) is the least popular one with only 12 bullish hedge fund positions. fuboTV Inc. (NYSE:FUBO) is not the least popular stock in this group but hedge fund interest is still below average. Our overall hedge fund sentiment score for FUBO is 29.4. Stocks with higher number of hedge fund positions relative to other stocks as well as relative to their historical range receive a higher sentiment score. Our calculations showed that top 5 most popular stocks among hedge funds returned 95.8% in 2019 and 2020, and outperformed the S&P 500 ETF (SPY) by 40 percentage points. These stocks gained 28.5% in 2021 through July 23rd and beat the market by 10.1 percentage points. A small number of hedge funds were also right about betting on FUBO, though not to the same extent, as the stock returned 20.8% since the end of Q1 (through July 23rd) and outperformed the market.
